With the Olivarian philosophy of education, the program believes that students should be equipped with knowledge and skills essential for successful careers in today's complex business world. A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration must be able to:
- Analyze critically and effectively business problems utilizing fundamental business concepts and decision tools.
- Conduct methodological research in business having familiarity with a range of data, research sources and appropriate methodologies.
- Establish a professional presence online incorporating the key disciplines of social media, search engine optimization and business analytics.
- Utilize information and communication technology necessary for managerial practice in business.
- Apply knowledge of physical, social, natural sciences, and humanities in the practice of business.
- Engage in lifelong learning with a passion to keep current with national and global developments in general, and business development in particular.
- Perform the functional areas of business (marketing, accounting, finance, human resource management, production and operations management, information technology and strategic management) in diverse situations.
- Practice beginning management and leadership skills using systems approach in the delivery of services.
- Apply ethical principles in the business environment with people of diverse ethnic, cultural, gender and other backgrounds.
- Work effectively and independently in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the ethical, legal and social obligations and responsibilities of business.
- Exercise high moral and ethical standards in the practice of profession.
