The provision of essential services to the student body at Olivarez College Tagaytay is supervised by the Office for Student Affairs (OSA). In order to satisfy the general mandate to address the range of concerns related to the general safety and welfare of students, these cover a wide range, from everyday student life to emergency scenarios and everything in between. These consist of, but are not restricted to:

• Administrative Services

  Student ID card issuance (replacement, temporary, and validation), Granting requests for temporary parking permits and temporary vehicle passes; Managing the services for lost and found; Responding to inquiries about student information from various offices and departments; Handling student official summonses

• Student Formation

  Promoting student formation guidelines establishes expectations for student conduct, encompassing adherence to Christian, Filipino, and Olivarian values alongside specific rules regarding grooming, attire, and the proper use of facilities.

• Student Conduct and Discipline:

  • Handling infractions by students (ID violations, smoking, littering, and other violations written in the Student Handbook)

  • Managing inquiries into incidents of gender-based misconduct, student discipline, and security concerns involving students Delineates procedures for addressing policy violations, including reporting, investigation, and disciplinary action by the Student Formation Committee.

• Emergency and Crisis Management:

  • Offering situational support during emergencies and personal crises, as well as specialized assistance to people with disabilities

  • Managing emergency response services in tandem with the Olivarez Risk Management Unit, Health Services, and Guidance and Counseling

• Student Activities

  Offering security assistance for student-organized events that aims to nurture the holistic development of its students by offering a range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities alongside its academic program.

• Student Recognition and Engagement:

  • Supervising the creation of student yearbooks

  • Supervising the selection of students to attend regional and worldwide student conferences and giving out awards

• Student Organizations

  The Office of Student Affairs is tasked with fostering the complete development of students. It encourages the establishment of student organizations as platforms for managerial and leadership skill development.

• Student Publication

  The Office of Student Affairs upholds the principle of press freedom as a constructive tool for development. It mandates that every student publication adheres to the highest standards of responsible campus journalism, emphasizing integrity, accuracy, and ethical reporting practices.
