TESDA Programs
Olivarez College Tagaytay and TESDA pursue the assessment and certification of the competencies of students taking vocational courses through Philippine TVET Competency Assessment and Certification System (PTCACS). The assessment process seeks to determine whether the student can perform to the standards expected in the workplace based on the defined competency standards. Certification is provided to those who meet the competency standards. This ensures the productivity, quality and global competitiveness of our students.Bread and Pastry Production
In order to be able to clean tools, equipment, and utensils as well as prepare, portion, and plate pastries, bread, and other dessert items for guests in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, canteens, resorts, luxury lines/cruises, and other related operations, a person must earn the BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION NC II Qualification.
Cookery
A person must have the COOKERY NC II Qualification to clean kitchen areas and prepare hot and cold meals and desserts for patrons in various food and beverage service establishments.
Food and Beverage Services
A technical-vocational curriculum called Food and Beverage Services NC II teaches students how to prepare menus and meals for eateries, motels, canteens, banquets, events, and other places where many people are served food.
Caregiving
The competencies required by the CAREGIVING NC II Qualification include caring for infants and toddlers, caring for children, fostering the social, intellectual, creative, and emotional development of children, caring for children's physical development, caring for the elderly, caring for people with special needs, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, responding to emergencies, cleaning the living room, dining room, bedrooms, toilet, and bathroom, washing and ironing clothes, linen, and fabric, and preparing hot and cold meals.
Bookkeeping
The competencies required for the BOOKKEEPING NC III Qualification include trial balance preparation, financial report preparation, journalization of transactions, posting of transactions, and internal control system review.
Computer Systems Servicing
The competencies required to install and configure computer systems, set up servers and networks, and maintain and repair computers and networks make up the COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II Qualification.
